The HI 84100 is a dedicated automatic titrator utilized for the determination of free and total sulfur dioxide in wine analysis. This unit is economical and easy to use. Titrations are driven by a simple and reliable peristaltic pump to ensure accurate dosing and repeatability. By performing pump calibration with the provided HANNA standards, instrument accuracy is assured. A pre-programmed analysis method designed for free and total sulfur dioxide measurements on wine samples is built into this instrument. This automated method utilizes a powerful and effective algorithm that analyzes the shape of the electrode response curve and determines the reaction completion; from which the results are calculated, automatically. HI 84100's interface is clean and simple. By pressing the START/STOP button, the instrument will automatically make the titration up to the equivalence point. The results are conveniently displayed in ppm units while the instrument readies itself for the next titration.
